I want to take this opportunity to share some experiences I have had with my Realtor, Eric Wise.  I have worked with Mr. Wise on two separate occasions over the past 2 years.  The first experience was with the selling of my home in a difficult time in the Market.  Eric worked diligently to bring Potential Buyers into the home and helped me, the seller, to be sure that things were the most presentable each time.  He held Several Open houses, and made sure Advertisement was done in the area Media.  Because of the placement of our For Sale sign, Eric added lights to make sure that we were even getting on lookers after dark.  With his extra time and effort, Eric was able to sell my home in about in about three months during a difficult Market. 

I also had the opportunity to work with Eric, as a Buyers agent.  This was a new experience for me and I was very thankful to have Eric to assist with the Process.  Eric made several calls to the Seller of the home I was buying to negotiate the best deal for me.  He was never afraid to ask for things on my behalf.  Eric also made several calls to my Broker and Appraiser to help me settle unresolved issues.  My situation was difficult because of unforeseen circumstance, but Eric made multiple calls to make sure I ended up at a closing table.  Eric always made an effort to make sure that I was an informed home buyer, and that was appreciated.

I would also like to comment on his professionalism for both experiences.  Eric brought knowledge and the willingness to help educate me to both experiences.  Please take the letter as a recommendation to allow Eric wise, to assist you with your Real estate needs in the future.

 My name is Megan Lewis, home owner in Belmont, NC, and recent client of Eric Wise.  I would like to compliment and thank him for a job very well done.   I was initially a consumer aimed at being an unrepresented buyer, and was doing all of the research, appointment setting and negotiations on my own.  On one of my visits to a view a home, I was introduced to Eric, as the Realtor representing that particular property.  Rather than simply trying to SELL me on that individual listing, Eric chose to discuss what I was really looking for and potentially determine if there were other listings that would better satisfy my criteria.  We chatted about location, amenities, and even daycares and driving routes.  I left that meeting with the intent of considering that property as my #1 choice, and that I would be purchasing a house from Eric, rather than with him.  

While considering the property I had viewed with Eric, I still continued my internet research to compare all of my options.  One evening I came across my current little home on a general real estate site.  I realized it was perfect, and that it was being represented by Eric’s office, but by another Realtor.  Thinking back to my initial encounter with Eric, I realized that he would be a huge asset as my buyer representative.  Eric had helped me to recognize the blooming markets in my desired locations, assisted in determining the reality of what I needed vs. what I wanted in a home, and was also instrumental in connecting me with the most wonderful mortgage consultant in the state, all prior to even becoming my official agent!  It was simply common sense to request he be by my side throughout this process.  Thankfully he accepted.

Having found the perfect property, agent, and mortgage, we were off to an amazing start.  However, we encountered a number of hurdles during the process.  Eric didn’t let these things get me down and did everything he could to keep me up to date and in the loop along the way.  Eric’s uncanny ability to know my preferences led him to do some very savvy negotiating, always with my best interest at hand.  In the end, he was the most honest, genuine, and wise “right hand man” for the job.  To achieve the quality of experience I have had, I could never have done this alone.  Eric has become a friend of our family throughout this experience, in part because he is the type of person/agent that we will continually recommend our own friends and family.  I would like anyone in need of real estate services to know that Eric is a professional beyond his profession.  Rest assured that your needs and desires for a place to call home become his priority until you are there.
